A group of men brutally attacked Tekashi 6ix9ine inside a South Florida gym; the rapper's injuries were so severe that he had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.
According to 6ix9ine's lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, the rapper was suddenly and unexpectedly attacked by multiple men while in the sauna on Tuesday at a LA Fitness.
Lazzaro claims that despite his best efforts, 6ix9ine was beaten to a pulp by the onlookers before running away. According to Lance, 6ix9ine was not accompanied by security at the time of the assault.
The disturbance was heard by the gym workers, who alerted the manager right away. He was then taken to the hospital by ambulance after police and EMS were summoned to the site.
The damage to Tekashi's face, including the gashes and swelling, can be seen in a photo that was taken in the hospital. He reportedly also had injuries to his back, ribs, and jaw.
The next step, according to Lazzaro, is for him to make a call to the Feds to ensure that 6ix9ine receives the protection he obviously needs. Remember that he was given an early release from federal jail after helping law enforcement apprehend some of his fellow gang members.
It's presently unknown if Tekashi's collaboration had anything to do with the gym attack.
