(Reuters) – SANTA MONICA, Calif. In a civil trial against Bill Cosby, closing arguments began on Wednesday, with his accuser's attorney saying that she had produced sufficient evidence of a sexual assault at the Playboy Mansion in 1975 and should be compensated for emotional suffering.Judy Huth, who filed her case in 2014, testified that when she was 16 years old and Cosby was 37, the comedian forced her to perform a sex act at the famed Los Angeles house.

Nathan Goldberg, Huth's attorney, told the jury, "You have to hold him fully accountable."

Goldberg went on to say that there is no set method for calculating what someone owes for mental suffering, telling the jury to "use your best judgment" in deciding what Huth should get.

"It's been four years of suffering. What does that mean to you? A million dollars a year? A yearly salary of $2 million?" he stated

The defense team for Bill Cosby is expected to make their closing arguments later on Wednesday.Although Cosby did not attend the trial in person, jurors were given a 10-minute video of him answering questions from one of Huth's attorneys during a deposition in 2015.

While Cosby said he had no recollection of Huth, he claimed the encounter could not have occurred because he would not have attempted sexual contact with a 15-year-old at the time.

Jennifer Bonjean, a Cosby attorney, questioned Huth's statement, including her changed timeline, during cross-examination.

Huth stated in her complaint filed in December 2014 that the incident occurred while she was 15 years old, in 1974. She testified this week that she just came to the conclusion that she was misinformed about the year and that it actually happened in 1975.

The civil trial in California took place 11 months after Cosby was released from prison when his sexual assault conviction in another case was overturned by Pennsylvania's top court.

Cosby, 84, is best remembered for his role as the adoring husband and father in the 1980s sitcom "The Cosby Show," which earned him the moniker "America's Dad.

His reputation as a family man, however, was shattered after more than 50 women accused him of sexual assaults over the course of over five decades.
