If another Republican senator expresses thoughts and prayers in reaction to Tuesday's massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of The View, has promised to "fight somebody."
The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that Salvador Ramos, 18, shot and murdered 19 children and two adults. Police fatally shot Ramos. After the 2007 Virginia Tech massacre and the 2012 Sandy Hook tragedy, it is the third deadliest school shooting in US history. In the aftermath of the shooting, the View segment featured gun control calls.
"Why do we keep coming back to the same place?" I swear to God, I'm going to hit someone if I hear another Republican senator talk about their shattered heart. "I'm not accepting any prayers or thoughts," Goldberg stated. "By now, you would have done something if your thoughts and prayers were with everyone." It's not as if no one is trying. "WTF is going on?"
Republicans should "stop gaslighting," said Joy Behar, a co-host.
"I, too, would like them to cease gaslighting me." Stop stating that humans kill, not weapons. People are killed by guns, remember? Stop speaking the exact opposite of what you want to hear. She said, "Stop blaming mental disease." "Every country in the world has mental disease, but none of them have this problem." So don't try to fool me by stating that a good guy can stop an evil guy with a gun."If I hear another Republican say "Thoughts and Prayers," Whoopi Goldberg says, "I'm going to punch somebody."
