Ice-T and his wife's parenting abilities are once again being questioned, but they are pleading with detractors to take a step back.
Coco Austin uploaded many family photos from a Bahamian trip over the weekend, including one in which the couple's 6-year-old daughter, Chanel, was seen in a stroller. Some of Coco's social media fans soon pulled out their parenting police badges and said Chanel was way too large and old to be in a stroller.Coco responded to the criticism on Twitter, stating, "Oh lord!! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Everything I do in the literary sphere is subject to criticism!" She then mentioned the recent spate of awful killings in the United States, hinting that people should concentrate on more pressing issues.
"It's crazy that I'm using a stroller to push Chanel around! Isn't there a war going on right now, with mass shootings, and you'd rather meddle with my parenting? SMH, "she penned Ice-T shook his head at the outrage and the media coverage around the same time.
"There's nothing else for MFs to discuss. F em all. Smh. Lol, "he wrote.
Of course, the pair has had their share of encounters with online parenting "experts." After Coco said Chanel liked her "boob," a nursing discussion erupted last summer.
"'Oh, you don't get the nourishment beyond two years old,' a lot of people say. Why do it?' My child is eating steak and hamburgers, I'm thinking. She simply enjoys a small snack now and then, as well as more mother-daughter interaction. Why should she be denied that? "Us Weekly reported on Coco.Breastfeeding, according to the former Playboy model, provided comfort to the little daughter. "She likes it," Coco explained, "and it's not like she's getting milk from it," but "she's having her little snack and it's kind of putting her to sleep."
Ice tweeted in the midst of the uproar, "Why are you so concerned about MY Child? That is strange. Return to the cellar now."
