Ryan Reynolds, renowned American actor, in his quest to buy the Ottawa Senators encounters a tight competition with none other than multiple award winning rap legend, Snoop Dogg!!

The Dogg Father, who wants to control the next major celebrity sports team, has reportedly joined the organization led by Neko Sparks.
In January 2023, Los Angeles-based entrepreneur, Sparks, first came to light as a potential team buyer. Since then, he has enlisted the support of a dozen others in his quest to become the first black NHL owner in addition to purchasing the team. Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" apparently also belongs to the club.
In case you weren't aware, Snoop is a huge hockey enthusiast. He collaborated with the NHL in 2018 to produce the weekly video series "Hockey 101 with Snoop Dogg."

Additionally, he presided over an entire NHL period for the Los Angeles Kings in their game against the Colorado Avalanche in 2020. If you want to go any farther, Snoop is wearing a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey in his well-known "Gin and Juice" music video.
It will still be a fight for Sparks' ownership group to win the Senators, despite the fact that adding Dogg helps its cause.
There are rumors that Reynolds and businessman Christopher Bratty are putting together a $1 billion offer to purchase the team.
Additionally, they would construct a brand-new stadium for the organization; it is unknown if Sparks and his group would follow suit.
Reynolds has experience with club ownership. Reynolds and the actor Rob McElhenney purchased Wrexham FC for $2.5 million back in November 2020.

The team was re-admitted to the English Football League on April 22 after quitting 15 years prior.
Final bids for the Senators are due May 15, then a winner will be chosen from there. A lot of star power is looking to make a splash in the world of sports … may the best group win!!!
