Snippets from the Platinum Jubilee may be included in Prince Harry’s memoir, which may be delayed.

Prince As we near the halfway point of the year, neither the Duke of Sussex nor his publisher, Penguin Random House, have announced a release date for Harry's memoir, raising worries about whether it will be issued this year at all.According to royal expert Roya Nikkhah, this might be for a good reason, and it could be tied to Harry's visit to the United Kingdom for the Platinum Jubilee next month. A delayed publishing date, according to Nikkah, would "avoid overshadowing" the Jubilee activities while also giving the prince a chance to write about the Jubilee experience in the highly awaited book."It will provide Harry an opportunity to tell his account of attending next month's celebrations with Meghan and their children, the first time the Sussexes will have been reunited with the royal family in over two years," Nikkah explains.

The behind-the-scenes details of the Sussex reunion—which will reportedly not be captured by Netflix cameras—would make a compelling conclusion to his memoir, which was announced last year as a "intimate and heartfelt memoir" about his life, which he calls "accurate and wholly truthful," the "definitive account" of his "experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons."

"I've worn many hats over the years, both physically and metaphorically, and my hope is that by sharing my story—the highs and lows, the blunders, and the lessons learned—I may help illustrate that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we believe," she says "About the memoir, Harry writes. "I'm happy for the opportunity to share what I've learned so far in my life, and I'm looking forward to people reading a firsthand account of my life that is accurate and completely truthful."

There is no denying that there is apprehension around the family's return to the United Kingdom because of this tell-all. The royal family will be "extremely apprehensive" of the book's publishing during the Jubilee, according to royal author Ian Lloyd, who believes it will be as explosive—if not more so—than Harry and Meghan's sitdown interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

"A delayed publishing date would presumably be a comfort to the royal family and courtiers, with some worried they might be singled out in the book after the Sussexes' soul-baring interview with Oprah Winfrey," she says.
