During a Sunday interview on "Fox & Friends Weekend," Miami Mayor Francis Suarez said that Elon Musk moving Twitter to his city would be the "icing on the cake," and argued that Miami is the "most prosperous" city in America.FRANCIS SUAREZ: So the pitch is that you want to go to a city with the lowest taxes and the lowest crime rate. The highest possible standard of living that values achievement. Cities across America are pushing out—New York recently pushed out Amazon, and San Francisco recently pushed out Elon Musk—and we are a city that is essentially pro-free market. We believe that the American dream is one in which people may achieve success doing whatever they wish. That is not something you should be ashamed of, nor is it something you should avoid or hide. That, I believe, is one of the characteristics that distinguishes Miami. We've invested a lot of money to help businesses scale and grow. We just think Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter would be the perfect icing on the cake if he moved it to Miami, because Miami is the most free and successful city in the United States. And I believe that him bringing Twitter to Miami and modernizing it to make it a stronger platform would be a good fit.
