Rick Ross’s Annual Car Show Finally Gets An Official Permit

Rick Ross prevailed in his battle with Fayette County for his second annual auto show… because officials changed their minds and gave him a permit.

Rick received a letter on Friday from the director of planning and zoning advising him that the permit for the upcoming event has finally been issued… with some restrictions.

According to the letter acquired by TMZ from Fayette County officials, Rick's event cannot go longer than two weeks, any tents must have the county fire marshal's clearance, off-street parking must be provided, and outdoor lighting must be turned off by ten o'clock at night.

The reversal comes a week after Rick appeared with us on "TMZ Live" and said his auto show was still going ahead even though he had been denied a licence.

The hip hop entrepreneur held the auto show without a permission the previous year, but after some neighbors protested, he hired event planners to aid with this year's event, which will take place on June 3 at his Promised Land home in Fayetteville, Georgia.

A judge ruled on Wednesday that Ricky Rozay was free to attempt to obtain a permit, and now he has one. Rick's neighbors had filed a lawsuit to prevent the concert from returning to his property.

According to Rick Ross's attorney, Leron Rogers, "Rick Ross and his team are excited to get the administrative hurdle behind us and look forward to a great event on June 3, 2023."
