According to a person familiar with the issue, Lil Durk spent the previous week in the hospital due to extreme dehydration and weariness before being released yesterday.
Durk reportedly entered a hospital on July 6 after becoming ill in Ohio.
His check in to a hospital was just a safety measure according to him, however, the situation was more serious than he and his colleagues had expected, and he was promptly admitted.
Durk was forced to cancel a number of appearances across Europe as well as yesterday's ESPY Awards due to a severe health emergency, and according to reports, his doctors have still not given him the all-clear to resume his work in any form.
"My fans mean everything to me; you're the reason I do this," Durk tells USWEB24. I had planned to see all of my fans in Europe, perform this weekend, go to the ESPYs, and more, but after touring and traveling every day, I've been dangerously dehydrated and have been told by my doctors not to travel because of weariness. I'm looking forward to getting back to work once I have all of my energy. #StillHealing."
The Chicago rap star is expected to release the deluxe album of said "Almost Healed" soon but needs to slow down in order to activate that speedy recovery!!!
