Kenan Thompson wanted to clear the air on Samuel L. Jackson's alleged "Saturday Night Live" ban on Thursday. Jackson joked that Thompson was to blame for his exclusion from the show. (Below is a video.)
Thompson informed presenter Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" that he didn't have the power to do so. "I'm not sure why he thinks that," Jackson said, adding that he's been "angry at me" since then.Thompson clarified that the "Snakes on a Plane" star is not prohibited. "It's all good, bro," Thompson remarked honestly into the camera. According to what I've heard, you're welcome at any time. You are welcome to come in whenever you like."

In a 2012 comedy with Thompson, Jackson said he was barred for shouting the full unfiltered F-word. Thompson was supposed to cut him off before he finished his sentence, he claimed.

However, Thompson said on Thursday that the cue card only had a "F" on it, which was not an encouragement for Jackson to use his trademark profanity

Thompson explained, "I guess he's a method man." "He accomplished it both times."
Jackson recently received assurance from the man who has the right to issue a ban: "SNL" producer Lorne Michaels. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jackson accidentally shared an elevator with Michaels and inquired about his return to the program

"You are not prohibited!" According to Jackson, Michaels responded.
"Perhaps I'm not," Jackson said to the publication. "I'm not sure."
