Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss are two of the most well-known figures in 1990s fashion. They were collectively known as "the Big Six," along with supermodels Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, and Linda Evangelista. Both Campbell and Moss have participated in well-known music videos and some of the most memorable fashion campaigns in history (including a vintage Got Milk? commercial).Despite personal problems and feuds with their modeling peers, Campbell and Moss have managed to stay friends for decades and ignore the media's attempts to set them against one another. That's no easy achievement in the modeling business, and Campbell herself has fallen victim to it on a few occasions. She's always had a soft spot for Moss, though. She stated in a 2014 Evening Standard piece (via Vogue UK): "[Kate Moss] reminds me of my younger sister […] We even have nicknames for each other, but I'm not sure she'd want me to tell you what they are!"

And things between them are better than they've ever been. They co-hosted a Met Gala afterparty in 2022, which drew a star-studded guest list. Moss, on the other hand, recently made news after being named in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial on May 25. Moss, who dated Depp in the 1990s, was brought in as a rebuttal witness by Depp's team to refute a claim Heard recounted about their previous relationship. Campbell is now speaking up about her friend's deposition.Naomi Campbell revealed her opinions in her Instagram Story following Kate Moss' appearance at the trial. She captioned a screenshot of the news from the Daily Mail, "YES WAGON TELL IT!! @ katemossagency." Campbell's nickname for Moss appears to be "Wagon," as seen by her social media posts dating back years. Campbell has remained silent regarding Johnny Depp's connection with Amber Heard, despite her friend's celebration. Campbell has been photographed with Depp in 2019, and this, together with her support for Moss' testimony, could indicate that she is pro-Depp.

Despite Moss's difficulties following her separation with Depp, the two have remained friendly, and she's now put to rest a long-running rumor. She refuted Heard's claim that she got violent with Depp because she was afraid he would shove her sister down the stairs in her May 25 testimony. According to People, Heard earlier told the court, "I don't pause, I don't wait — I simply think about Kate Moss and stairs in my thoughts."

Moss then sat in on the trial via video conference to give her side of the tale. "It was raining outside, and Johnny had left the room before I did. I slid down the stairs and damaged my back as I exited the room "She clarified, putting an end to a long-held rumor. "[Depp] ran back to assist me, carrying me to my room and getting me medical treatment."
