Nick Marsman, an Inter Miami goalie who will play with Lionel Messi later this summer, was recently bitten by a spider at a zoo. The bite was reportedly so severe that the soccer player had to stay in the hospital for several days.
In a series of Instagram photos this week, Marsman's wife Nathalie den Dekker described the terrifying circumstances, claiming that the 32-year-old spent three days in a hospital after a venomous spider bit him.
Thankfully, she added, he has now been freed and is recuperating at home.
Den Dekker expressed her happiness to get her followers back in one of her posts. "Now, get well soon."
Uncertainty surrounds the length of time the MLS goalkeeper, who serves as Inter Miami's primary backup to Drake Callender, will be out while regaining his strength.
