ETIHAD Stadium, Manchester

 — Manchester City led Bayern Munich 1-0 at the interval of the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal due to Rodri's magnificent goal.

Rodri switched the ball to his weaker left foot and curled the ball into the top corner from just outside of 25 yards as Bayern, playing under new head coach Thomas Tuchel for the first time in Europe, fell behind.

70th second: "GOOOAAAAALLLL!" Bernardo Silva

Bayern is in trouble with Upamacanwoe. Playing out from the back, the French defender threw himself into trouble. Grealish intercepted Haaland and freed him with a deft flick. Bernardo Silva pulled the trigger as the striker put up a cross to the back post, causing chaos at the bayern camp

75th second: "GOOOAAAAALLLL!" Erling Haaland

He's here! Haaland scored his 45th goal of the campaign by converting Stones' superb header back across the net.

Oh, that could have resulted in a tie in the 74th minute. Alvarez received the loose ball and fired a sidefoot attempt in the bottom left corner but Sommer made a fantastic save.

Fans of Bayern Munchen still had their hopes held up high even to the final whistle, trusting the formation to bring up at least a goal but it turned out Thomas Tuchel couldn't grant them their wish

With all hopes not lost,  fans are still positive about a massive come back at man city on Wednesday
