These Are Special Times, Celine Dion's smash holiday album from 1998, will be released on vinyl in a special gold edition, the singer announced this week on Instagram. The pop icon's 17th studio album is the holiday-themed collection.

Many followers in Dion's comment section expressed their "thrill" at the 54-year-old Grammy winner appearing to be doing well and getting ready to release new music. Others stated that they are still "worried" about her after she postponed the North American and European legs of her "Courage" world tour and canceled her Las Vegas residency earlier this year owing to her health.

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer originally revealed last October that she had to cancel her residency in the Nevada city due to "severe and recurrent muscle spasms," which (understandably) made it necessary for her to recuperate and take a break from performing. A few months later, she disclosed that the same reason required her to postpone all of the North American dates of her tour in January 2022.

Since Dion's original health update about a year ago, her online supporters have stated that they are still "worried" about her. The musician's sister, Claudette, stated in an interview with the French magazine Voici a few weeks after her diagnosis, "What's happening to her is sad. It's not serious, though. Every time something goes wrong, Celine comes to me for help and confides in me. I am confident of her happiness.

The "It's All Coming Back To Me" singer stated that she had hoped to feel better by the time she initially postponed the North American dates in January. I really thought I'd be good to go by now, but I guess I'll just have to be more patient and stick to the regimen my doctors are giving me, she added.

When Dion informed her fans that the European leg of her tour would be delayed in April, fans did feel optimistic. She added at the time, "The good news is that I'm getting a little bit better." She continued, "But it's going very slowly, and it's quite frustrating for me," admitting that she had spasms.

Dion announced in her very first statement that she was delaying her Las Vegas performance until March 22, 2022 due to "unforeseen medical symptoms," however this did not occur, the date was not altered, and there is still no word on her plans to appear in Sin City.

"This breaks my heart. I am utterly devastated to not be able to open this November because my crew and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months," she remarked earlier this year. "I feel terrible that I'm disappointing them, and I'm especially sorry to all the fans who have been making travel arrangements to visit Las Vegas. I must now concentrate on getting better. I want to finish this as quickly as I can. – xx Celine

Thanks to her recent announcement of the updated dates for her "Courage" tour in Europe, Dion's fans in Europe will (hopefully and finally) be able to see her perform live in 2023. The performances will begin on February 24 of the next year in Prague and go throughout the continent until October 2023. Although it is yet unknown if and when North American followers and Las Vegas locals will be able to see a Dion performance, many are still keeping the legendary singer in their "prayers," as one said, and "are confident" in their ability to witness a full recovery. Get well, Celine!
