Even after retiring from boxing, Floyd Mayweather can't seem to stay away from the ring. Mayweather's next exhibition bout, against Don Moore on May 14, will be held on a helicopter landing pad in Dubai, in an unusual twist. On Thursday, Mayweather held a press conference to corroborate the exhibition's reports.

Moore is an 18-0-1 professional boxer who has not fought since September 2016, his first fight since November 2013. As a professional, he also only fought once in a battle that lasted more than six rounds. Mayweather's demonstration will be an eight-round fight, with no news on whether round-by-round scoring would be used.Mayweather last fought professionally in August 2017, when he stopped UFC star Connor McGregor in Round 10 of their officially sanctioned bout to improve to 50-0. Tenshin Nasukawa was knocked out in the first round of his first exhibition fight in December 2018. After an eight-round bout with social media sensation Logan Paul in June, there was no winner, despite Mayweather's easy handling of Paul.

Anderson Silva, a former UFC fighter, will try to continue his boxing success at the event. Since his UFC career came to an end, Silva has won by decision over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and by knockout over Tito Ortiz.

The celebration will be hosted on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Hotel, and Badou Jack is expected to attend.
