The United States of America (CNN) Former First Lady Melania Trump intimated in her first interview since leaving the White House that she would return if former President Donald Trump runs for reelection in 2024.
Melania Trump told Fox News in an interview that aired Sunday morning, "I think we accomplished a lot in four years of the Trump administration," adding, "Never say never," when asked if she would return to the White House if her husband ran for reelection.
Trump talked about her "NFT projects" during the conversation. Several non-fungible tokens, which are digital valuables validated by the blockchain and typically a piece of digital art, have been produced and placed up for sale on the former first lady's personal website. All of the artifacts Trump is selling can only be acquired with bitcoin, and the initial batch of goods put up for auction earlier this year failed to achieve the $250,000 opening bid barrier.
"The MetaRose," the most recent NFT, is an animated blue rose. Most modern first women, on the whole, establish foundations or non-profit organizations to continue the efforts they started while in the White House. During the interview, Trump stated that "part of the proceeds" from the sale of the NFTs, which are priced at $150 each, will benefit foster children.CNN has repeatedly inquired about how much of the proceeds would be or have been donated to charity, and to which organizations, but has yet to receive a response. Trump has never disclosed how much money she has made from the digital things she has been selling since late last year.
Trump talked about how she wasn't featured on the cover of Vogue magazine during her tenure as president, a decades-old tradition that was revived this year when the magazine placed first lady Jill Biden on the cover."They're biased, and they have likes and dislikes, and it's very evident," she added of the fashion magazine's lack of attention to her as it has to other first ladies.
"I think it's sad to see what's going on, if you really go closely into it," Trump said on the state of the United States under President Joe Biden.
"I believe that many individuals are struggling and suffering as a result of what is happening in the globe. As a result, it's quite upsetting to see, and I'm hoping things will improve quickly "said Trump.
