How near is life to being discovered by the James Webb Space Telescope?

1

Just over a year ago, the James Webb Space Telescope—the biggest telescope ever flown into space—was launched by the American space agency NASA. Since then, the universe has been revealed to us in a completely new light, with images after images of stars, planets, and galaxies that reach farther into the universe than anyone has ever seen. We find out how near it actually is to finding evidence of life on other planets by speaking with those who worked on building the telescope about what they have discovered.
