The Oscar for best animated feature picture went to Disney's "Encanto."
Stephanie Beatriz, Maria Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Mauro Castillo, Jessica Darrow, Angie Cepeda, Carolina Gaitan, Diane Guerrero, and Wilmer Valderrama are among the cast members of the picture, which is set to be released in November 2021.
The story of the Madrigals, a mythical Colombian family, is told in this film directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. Mirabel (Beatriz), who has no special abilities, is tasked with safeguarding her family's magic with the help of her uncle Bruno, who has the ability to see into the future.
"We Don't Talk About Bruno," the film's big song, debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the catchy tune, which became the first Disney song to achieve number one since "A Whole New World" from the 1993 film "Aladdin."
