Elon Musk Picks a Presidential Candidate for 2024

Elon Musk has been the target of accusations from much of the Democratic Party since announcing a $54.20-per-share, or $44 billion, bid to buy Twitter on April 14.

This rage has a clear source. The entrepreneur, who refers to Twitter as our time's de facto town square, claims that the platform will be available to everybody as long as the comments posted do not break the laws of the country in which they are made. There is no need to exclude users as long as they follow the law, he claims. Many in the Republican Party, who believe Twitter's content-moderation practices unfairly sanctioned them, applauded this notion, which was supposed to preserve the principles of free expression.

They point to Twitter's exclusion of former President Donald Trump after the Capitol revolt on Jan. 6, 2021.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla, the electric vehicle leader, has stated that he will lift Trump's restriction once the Twitter acquisition is completed.

However, as it currently stands, Musk's Twitter will unleash a torrent of hate, bullying, and misinformation on Democrats. Even Bill Gates, the co-founder of software behemoth Microsoft, has expressed alarm, claiming that Musk may exacerbate the situation.

In a recent interview, Gates stated, "He may possibly make things worse." "His track record isn't like that." I mean, his track record with Tesla and SpaceX is pretty mind-blowing in terms of assembling a brilliant team of engineers and… showing up individuals who previously worked in those industries in a less daring way.

"I doubt it this time, but we should keep an open mind and never dismiss Elon."
Trump, for one, has stated that he will continue to use the Truth Social social network, which he founded. Many opponents and supporters of Trump may have misinterpreted Musk's choice as a guarantee for Trump's future goals.

Trump has been dealt a blow by the normally volatile tech magnate. Musk expressed his support for Trump's return to Twitter in a Twitter thread. Musk, on the other hand, has stated that for 2024, he would prefer a less contentious candidate.

"Even though I believe a less divisive candidate would be better in 2024," the billionaire said on May 12 to his almost 93 million followers, "I still believe Trump should be restored to Twitter."Musk nodded when podcaster Lex Fridman said that the restriction just deepens divisions rather than stimulating dialogue.

Musk will be the interim CEO of Twitter, bringing in a dozen new investors (CNBC)Fridman responded, "Agreed." "The world is more divided, resentful, and hateful as a result of the permanent ban, not less. It simply shifted it away from the platform. The only way to heal the wounds and celebrate our shared humanity is to talk."Musk is not endorsing President Joe Biden when he calls for a candidate who is less contentious than Trump. Musk has commended and criticized Biden's administration for its efforts in fighting Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"Biden's fault is that he believes he was elected to change the country," Musk said to his millions of followers. "However, everyone simply desired less drama."Musk makes it obvious that he does not support either Trump or Biden in the 2024 race by denouncing both on the same day.

On Twitter, the co-creator of dogecoin, Musk's preferred cryptocurrency, stated that 300 million Americans are seeking for "candidates who aren't too horrible." Musk responded, implying that both men are too old to be president.

"Is it too much to ask for a few possibilities for candidates that aren't completely terrible? For the record, there are 300 million Americans "Billy Markus weighed in.And under 8000 years old!" Musk retorted.

And Musk isn't done yet.

"If there's a minimum age to run for office in democracy, why not a maximum age as well?" A maximum age should be considered for a healthy functioning democracy, and leaders must be reasonably in touch with the majority of the public," a Twitter user said."It didn't occur to the founders of the United States that people would live that long, so they put in age minimums (for wisdom), but not age maximums (for…)," Musk continued, accompanied by a not-so-flattering emoji.

To summarize, neither Trump nor Biden will be President in 2024 for Musk.

In November, Biden will be 80 years old. In 2024, he will be 82 years old. In June, Donald Trump will be 76 years old. When the next White House election rolls around, the former president will be over 78 years old.

Musk, who is 50, is unable to run for president since he was not born on American soil, which is one of the requirements.
