Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) recently revealed a ground-breaking truth regarding some of her Republican party's legislators.

Cheney claims that some people who openly back former President Donald Trump actually have different opinions of him when they are alone.

This kind of behavior was demonstrated, according to HuffPost, in the days following the uprising on the U.S. Capitol on January 6. Many Republican politicians attempted to back Trump despite the risk to their own lives in the belief that he would stay in office.

Cheney spoke about her experience during an event she attended on Monday, September 19, at the American Enterprise Institute. During that time, she noticed a stack of documents that legislators had to sign if they wanted to disagree with the outcome of the Electoral College vote.
