Tory Lanez is speaking out against his 10-year prison sentence, but he won't apologize for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion because he still maintains his innocence.
The Canadian rapper finally broke his silence on Thursday with a lengthy Instagram statement in which he maintained his innocence and vowed to return after serving his sentence in a California state jail.
Tory claims he was wrongly convicted and that he is not sorry for being found guilty of shooting Meg. He continues, "I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do."
As you are aware, the judge on Tuesday condemned Tory to ten years in jail; however, his esteemed lawyer Jose Baez has stated that the intention is to fight that decision.
Tory claims that his conviction is just another instance in which he is up against the wall, but he assures everyone that he will prevail despite the situation."I refuse to stop fighting until I triumph," he vows.

The news first surfaced on TMZ. According to Tory's attorney, as he starts serving his term, he is relying on his faith, as well as his family and friends.

Tory thanks his fans and promises to see them soon, stating that "tough times don't last, tough people do."

By when? He won't have to serve the entire 10 years if he behaves well and owing to prison overcrowding, but even that sentence won't be easy.
