In what looks to be a unique VIP area close to the stage, Jay-Z was seen on July 8 enjoying himself as his wife, Beyoncé, performed at Toronto's Rogers Centre during a stop on her current Renaissance Tour.
Jay-Z demonstrated that he was undoubtedly telling the truth when he rapped, "I'll line you all up with one finger wave," in his 4:44 song "Bam," when a close fan recorded the Brooklyn, New York, legend and a small group of people performing the internationally renowned dancefloor standard, the "Electric Slide."
Watch Jay-Z perform the "Electric Slide" in the video clip below to his wife's cover of the Frankie Beverly and Maze song "Before I Let Go."
When Hov notices he's being recorded on a fan's phone, Jay simply holds up one finger to shut down the amateur production, and the individual operating the camera obediently stops recording as a result.
The "Electric Slide" seems to be Jay-Z's go-to line dance when it's time to shake a leg to the oldies. At a family event in 2017, video surfaced of King Hov and Queen Bey unintentionally performing the enduringly popular dance to the same Frankie Beverly and Maze song.
