Having made 200 international appearances, Cristiano Ronaldo is the first male player to acquire the Guinness World Records accreditation.

Tuesday's European Championship qualification match saw Portugal defeat Iceland 1-0 thanks to a goal from the Portugal star in the 89th minute.
Ronaldo received recognition from Guinness World Records prior to the game's start for playing 200 games for Portugal, nearly 20 years after his debut.
Victory has a unique flavor, Ronaldo said after accepting the trophy.
Not just for the occasion, the memorial, or the 200th game… I couldn't ask for more, especially with a goal to cap it off.Because of all it brought about for the game, it was amazing and unforgettable.

I must express my gratitude to the federation and the Icelanders for the surprise. Guinness World Records, too.
The achievement is yet another to add to Ronaldo's long list of international football successes.
With 122 goals in 200 games, the Al Nassr forward holds the record for most goals scored in international football history.
