Chance the Rapper may have offended his wife by grinding in front of the world during his 30th birthday bash, but if his new songs are to be believed, the Chicago MC feels he is right.
Chance debuted with the pro-twerking lines, "Make somethin' shake for me, stop playin', bitch/Fair trade, you get a purse, I get a sandwich/But that ain't fair you get to twerk, and that's advantageeee," in Vic Mensa's new music video "$WISH" on Friday.
Since he has been rapping for years about having a happy marriage, Chance's story about being heavily twerked on during Carnival '23 last week caused quite a stir in Jamaica.
Chance's wife Kirsten Corley-Bennett stoked the flames once more this week by sharing a piece from Maya Angelou's "Letter to My Daughter" book, emphasising the section about people getting married but still not maturing.
Just when supporters thought the topic had died down. They should probably refrain from playing "$WISH" around the house because you don't want to reopen previous wounds!
