In response to a "medical complication," actor Jamie Foxx is healing, according to a message on his daughter Corinne Foxx's Instagram account on Wednesday night.
"We wanted to let you know that yesterday, my father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical issue. Fortunately, thanks to prompt action and excellent treatment, he is already making progress toward recovery, according to Corinne Fox's article. "We are grateful for your prayers and are aware of how loved he is. The family requests discretion at this time.
The specifics of Foxx's medical scare remain a secret.
Jamie Foxx's spokesman Alan Nierob declined to comment on anything other than Corinne Foxx's Instagram post.
"Nothing more, at this time, than what was posted," he wrote to CNN on Wednesday.
Filming for the movie "Back in Action," starring Jamie Foxx, has just finished in the state of Georgia.
