Now that three guys have been found guilty of killing XXXTentacion, his family can finally move on from the horrific incident, according to his mother, who is relieved that justice was done.
Cleopatra Bernard, the mother of the late rapper, tells TMZ that she and her family are appreciative of the jury's finding of guilt and that the prosecution was able to achieve it via their efforts during the trial.
She claims that they can now move on in peace because this has given them closure. She is also reportedly extending love and gratitude to all of XXX's followers, who came through for him in a variety of ways during this story, including digitally and, in some cases, physically.
Although the experience was heartbreaking, Cleopatra is relieved that it is now over.
One final thing from Cleopatra: she claims that the defense's attempt to drag Drake into the case was a blatantly desperate ruse designed only to sow doubt, and she believes that she and her family have always known who killed her son.
That would be Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, and Dedrick Williams, the three men who currently face significant jail sentences. When a different individual testified against them and admitted to being engaged in the murder, placing everything on the table, their futures appeared to have been sealed.
