LeBron James may not be playing right now, but he's still enjoying video games. The NBA star has partnered with PlayStation to create a limited-edition console cover and controllers.
On Wednesday, Eric Lempel, PlayStation's SVP and Head of Global Marketing, made the announcement, stating that the video gaming giant and LBJ collaborated to produce a unique DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console cover.
A more perfect partner for the first-ever collaboration to build limited-edition PlayStation items couldn't have been found, according to Lempel.
"It was wonderful to see LeBron's concept come to life and reflect his interests in gaming and community. We anticipate that PlayStation enthusiasts will adore this design as much as we did when working on it.
The vivid graphics of King James' crown are on the black controller and cover, and "Nothing is given" is displayed on the middle touch panel. All things are earned.
On the right side, it also honors LBJ's "I Promise" foundation with the words "Chosen Ones" and "Build. Elevate. Empower."
Having fun with this one @playstation, the 38-year-old wrote on Instagram.
