Oprah Winfrey and Shania Twain once engaged in an awkward religious debate, the singer has claimed.

Twain was questioned about her most memorable supper ever on the Table Manners podcast on Wednesday (28 September) by host Jessie Ware.

Twain remarked, "I believe one of my most treasured dinners was with Oprah Winfrey.

She really is such a smart lady, I mean. And it was wonderful to just sit and have genuine conversations, you know. But things turned sour as soon as we brought up religion. Consequently, I thought, "Oh, let's stop talking about religion.

Additionally, I enjoy debating, and Canadians enjoy debating just about anything. I then say, "Oh OK, Sorry." Change the topic.Following a rise in interest in her music following the success of "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" on TikTok, Twain this week released her new tune "Waking Up Dreaming."

The 57-year-old recently shared her experience with Lyme disease, stating that the condition caused her to pass out while doing live performances.
