Fans who have been waiting for further information on the Hulk Hogan biopic, in which Chris Hemsworth will portray the legendary professional wrestler, may be disappointed by what the popular actor has said about the project.
When asked if the movie is still occurring, Chris Van Vliet just replied, "Uhh, maybe," which may raise doubts about the film's future. He claims that the director, "Todd Phillips," is currently "busy" with "Joker 2," and that he himself has "been off making other projects."
"Yeah, it's all in discussions and development like a lot of things," Hemsworth said. "There's a lot of different elements that need to come together for this to happen."The biopic will be released on Netflix, although no release date has been determined at this moment. As he continues his tenure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hemsworth is currently promoting his new film, "Thor: Love And Thunder," which will be released on July 8.
Back in February 2019, when the Marvel actor was announced as the guy who would play Hogan, there was a lot of enthusiasm because of his physicality, which has come in handy when portraying Thor. However, he confessed that he doesn't have "24-inch pythons" like the legendary professional wrestler.
Hemsworth has already indicated that he plans to "put on more girth" in order to represent the WWE Hall Of Famer, but Hogan has already expressed his admiration for his appearance. "My brother has the Hogan Pump on Jack, seems like he could slam Andre brother HH," the former six-time WWE Champion wrote on Twitter.
Hogan will be involved in the project himself, as he and Eric Bischoff will serve as executive producers on the film, which will focus on Hogan's life if it is made.
