After posting a picture of himself in a hospital bed on Sunday, Shaquille O'Neal raised concerns. However, USWEB24 has found the NBA icon only needed to address a minor injury, and he is currently doing OK.
According to our sources, the 51-year-old underwent surgery over the weekend to treat a hip problem, and everything went as planned. He is reportedly already recovering.
Shaq wrote in the caption that even though he couldn't be at work, he was still watching "NBA on TNT," and he included the names of his coworkers Ernie Johnson and Candace Parker.
"Miss y’all," he wrote.
Parker, a two-time WNBA champ, responded, "Love ya big Fella ♥."
Our sources claim there is no definite timetable for Shaq's return to his Broadcast job, but when discussing the imminent surgery on his podcast, "The Big Podcast With Shaq," earlier this month, he seemed to say he had April 16 in mind for when he could be active once more.
He also mentioned on the pod that he will start a diet following the procedure to get "shredded" and finally show off an 8-pack!
