Fox News Allegedly Imposes ‘SOFT BAN’ On DONALD TRUMP

Donald Trump's inner circle is apparently upset that Fox News has a "soft ban" on him appearing on the network, despite the fact that the network offers a cordial invitation to other GOP candidates for president in the upcoming election.

According to the news startup Semafor, the former president's once-warm relationship with the cable news network has deteriorated to the point where a "soft ban" or "silent ban" is now keeping Trump at arm's length.

The former US president hasn't appeared on Fox News during the workweek since he spoke with Sean Hannity, one of the network's top anchors, in September.

Trump's competitors for the GOP presidential candidacy in 2024 are currently frequent visitors on Fox. Since she announced her candidacy for president last month, former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley has made seven weekday appearances, according to Media Matters for America, a watchdog group that closely monitors the network's output.

Even Vivek Ramaswamy, a less well-known right-wing activist and businessman who entered the race last week, has made four appearances on Fox. Also frequently featured on the network is Florida's right-leaning governor, Ron DeSantis, who is widely anticipated to challenge Trump even though he has not declared.

Semafor claimed that it based its narrative on details provided by four people close to Trump. Everyone is aware of the so-called'soft ban' or'silent ban,' the unnamed person "close to Trump" was reported as saying. Whatever you want to call it—a quiet ban, a soft ban, or whatever—it is unquestionably representative of the Murdochs' current attitude toward Trump.

Fox News was requested by The Guardian to confirm or deny the existence of such a ban, but no response was given right away.
