According to Mike Pence’s biographer, none of the former vice president’s staff would have testified absent his consent.

Longtime journalist Tom LoBianco, who discussed Mike Pence with Mehdi Hasan on MSNBC Tuesday night, is slated to publish a new biography of the former vice president the following month.

Hasan questioned whether any of Pence's former advisers would have never spoken before the House Select Committee looking into the attack on the U.S. Congress and effort to rig the election on January 6.Sure enough, he responded, "Yeah, sure." "One of the tightest operations I've ever covered, it is a close-knit group. Additionally, nothing occurs without the manager's consent. So, I'd say that's a given. Although it hasn't been proven, Marc Short is the only witness who is closer to Mike Pence than Karen Pence, according to his testimony."The fact that Pence is quite deliberate about where he appears is one of the major lines from LoBianco's book. Trump's assistant claimed that, "if he has one, and I would say he does not, it's to do precisely what he has been doing," as to how he would get to the White House. Hasan enquired: "What do you suppose the assistant meant by that? What is Mike Pence now doing? Does he stand a chance of becoming the Republican nominee in 2024? I believe I stand a better chance than Mike Pence of being the Republican presidential nominee."

"The field is open, after all. I suppose you should, "So said LoBianco. He continued by asserting that Pence had a chance, which is something that most analysts disagree with.

He continued, "But you know, the tension here for him, specifically, is how does he confront this." "And another thing that occurred today is that they unveiled the title and cover of his book, which will be published on November 15th. It has to do with the oath of office, you know. So please God help me. It alludes to this, and the publisher seems to be depending on him to bring up January 6 in actual conversation. However, he is not himself. He alluded to it as "that horrible day" once more today. And he still hasn't accepted this. In other words, the statement that Pence continues on drafting all of this is what that specific Trump aide was alluding to. He continues to draft as of January 6. He continues to receive unpaid attention. The strange thing is that he hasn't been compelled to discuss January 6 yet. He hasn't been compelled to discuss this."
