These days, purchasing Bruce Springsteen tickets can be "Tougher Than The Rest" (CNN).
Because of "dynamic pricing" by Ticketmaster, certain seats can cost up to $5,000 each.
The expensive pricing are not popular.
In response to a tweet, someone said, "I'm sure you won't see this @springsteen but you or your management need to have a word with the repulsive crooks running @Ticketmaster who are charging ridiculous amounts to see you in concert." Please pay attention to your supporters; no one can afford these outrageous ticket costs.Springsteen should "write a song about a working man refinancing his vehicle and home to buy bruce springsteen tickets," writer John Semley said on Twitter.
He offered the following lyrics as a possible song title: I acquired a sixty-nine chevy/with a three-ninety-six fuelie heads/and a hurst on the floor/i had to sell it to go see the Boss at the Wells-Fargo Center."Springsteen's E Stret Band member and "The Sopranos" star Stevie Van Zandt tweeted in response to the uproar, saying in part, "I have nothing whatever to do with the pricing of tickets."
The international tour by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band officially went on sale. It will begin in Tampa, Florida's Amalie Arena in February.
Some of the seats closest to the stage started at roughly $60.
