Bloomberg (Bloomberg) — Twitter, according to Mark Cuban, is seeking for a white knight.With Elon Musk's $43 billion offer for Twitter still up in the air, Cuban claims that every major technology firm is consulting with its antitrust experts to see if they can buy the social media network and get it approved.
If Twitter rejects Musk's offer and Musk decides to sell his shares, he will have "opened the way for those tech giants to go in for relatively 'small' money and take tremendous influence at Twitter or possibly a direct road to acquisition," according to Cuban. "Elon will be smiling from ear to ear all the way to the bank."
Twitter, according to Cuban, will do everything it can to avoid selling. Even "non-friendly to the United States foreign money" could be interested in Twitter, he added.
